Wei Menglu is an associate in the dispute resolution department of Chance Bridge Partners. Her practice focuses on financial dispute resolution, especially on the disputes regarding insurance and equity. Menglu Wei has been Represented arbitration cases before China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC), Beijing Arbitration Commission (BAC) ect., and litigation cases before various levels of the People’s Court.

Representative Cases
• Represented a large state-owned credit insurance company in arbitration cases in related to insurance and financing disputes.
• Represented a state-owned trustee company in an arbitration case over disputes arising out of a trust loan contract with the amount of more than CNY 120 million.
• Issued a legal opinion for a state-owned trust company in a dispute regarding the debt collection under the trust loan contract, and the amount involved exceeds CNY1.5 billion.
• Represented stated-owned securities companies to apply for the execution of a notarial creditor's rights writ before Shanghai Financial Court, and the amount involved exceeds CNY1.3 billion.
• Represented a famous investment company to deal with a case concerning liability for damage to company interests before Supreme People's Court.
• Issued a legal opinion for a well-known listed company with respect to a sale-leaseback dispute, and the amount involved exceeds CNY 3 billion.
• Represented a state-owned company to deal with a dispute regarding the interest distribution of shareholders.
• Represented a real estate development company to deal with a dispute regarding to a joint venture contract with an amount of more than CNY100 million before Shandong Higher People's Court.
• Represented a famous technology group company from Taiwan to deal with a dispute caused by supplier’s commercial bribery through arbitration and court proceedings with the amount of more than CNY2 billion
• Represented a world-famous retailing corporation in an arbitration case concerning 20,000 square meters rental properties against the landlord and claiming the loss of expected profits due to the termination of contract with an amount of more than CNY130 million.
• Represented a Korean advertisement company to deal with a dispute regarding to an advertising agency agreement before BAC.
• Represented a world-famous business technology equipment manufacturer and service provider in numerous arbitration cases for service contract disputes concerning strategic consulting and construction of information system.
• Represented a domestic chemical enterprise in a sales contract dispute against a state-owned enterprise in China.

• “Third Party Funding in the Mainland of China from the Perspective of Financial Dispute Resolution: Returning to Financial Nature and Maintaining Financial Innovation”, awarded the First Prize in “Studying the New Concept of Rule of Law, Creating A New Era of Arbitration” in the thesis competition jointly sponsored by the Arbitration Research Institute of China University of Political Science and Law and other arbitration institutions.
